the church we see
Hey there, aloha from Redeemed Life Church (RLC) Oahu in beautiful Hawaii! If you're on the lookout for a community that's all about Jesus, the Spirit, and the Bible, you've come to the right place. We're not just a church; we're a family, and most of us have been journeying together for quite some time now. We like to think these connections were totally God-orchestrated – you know, divine appointments and all that jazz.

One of the coolest things about RLC Oahu? We're a diverse bunch. We've got folks from all walks of life, different backgrounds, and ages coming together with one mission: to reach the lost, love the broken, and care like Christ. It's like a big ohana united by our love for Jesus.

Here's the deal: we're all about transformation. We want to see lives changed, hearts healed, and potentials unlocked. And guess what? We're in it together. We'll be hosting gatherings, events, and hangouts where we can worship, dive into the Bible, and pray together. Because growing in our faith? It's a team sport.

But hey, we're not just about getting all spiritual and stuff. We're also about living life in the real world. We want to be Christ-like in everything we do, from the way we treat others to how we handle the daily grind.

And speaking of Jesus, we're all about His vibe. You know, that whole serving-others-and-giving-your-life-for-many thing? Yeah, that's our jam. Plus, following Jesus means tapping into a love that never quits. We're talking 24/7, full-time, never-gonna-let-you-go kind of love.

So, if you're up for experiencing a little slice of Heaven right here on Earth, come hang with us at RLC Oahu. We're all about living that redeemed life, and we'd love for you to join us on the journey. See you soon!
Essential Truths
Jesus is the Son of God
We believe Jesus is the one and only Son of God. He came to Earth as a man, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and after living a sinless life was crucified for our sins… our mistakes, failures, and shortcomings. God then raised Him back to life so we may have eternal life through Him. Jesus is the second person of the Trinity. He baptizes those who believe in the Holy Spirit. We believe that if we trust Jesus, he is faithful. THIS IS AWESOME! Through this understanding, we are a part of the worldwide body of Christ and call ourselves Christians.

“Jesus answered, ”I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”
2 John 14:6 (NIV)

“For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, ‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’ There is salvation in no one else! There is no other name in all of heaven for people to call on to save them.”
Acts 4:11-12 (NLT)

SALVATION comes through Christ
You must RECEIVE Jesus Christ as your savior to receive salvation in Him. God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by sinfully going their way. As a result, we need God’s saving grace to end our alienation from Him. Salvation comes only through God’s grace, not human effort, and must be received personally by repentance and faith. Those who confess Jesus as their Lord and Savior and believe God resurrected Him from the dead on the third day are saved, and considered members of God’s family. In the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and judgment. Only believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with God.

"When anyone becomes a Christian he becomes a new person inside. The old passes away, a new life has begun.”
2 Corinthians 5:17 (LB)
“But to all who believed Him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.”
John 1:12 (NIV)
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.”
Romans 10:9-10
“Jesus: ‘If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for me, you will find true life.”
Matthew 16:25 (NLT)
The HOLY SPIRIT lives within us
Believers can be SPIRIT-FILLED and SPIRIT LED. We believe the only way possible to live the Christian life is by God’s power within us. Every believer can be filled with the Holy Spirit upon salvation by simply asking. We seek to practice a daily dependence on God’s Spirit to enable us to do what is right.

“…you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you…” – Acts 1:8 (NIV)
The Bible is the Word of God
God’s Word is the only reliable and truthful authority, and we accept the Bible as our manual for living. When faced with a decision our first question is, “What does the Bible say?” We practice daily Bible reading and Bible study. The Bible is the basis for all we believe.

“All Scripture is inspired by God and is used to teach us what is true and make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right.”
2 Timothy 3:16 (NLT)

“And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.”
Thessalonians 2:13 (NIV)

IN ESSENTIAL BELIEFS, WE HAVE UNITY
“There is one Body and one Spirit… there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all…”
Ephesians 4:4-6
IN NON-ESSENTIAL BELIEFS, WE HAVE LIBERTY
“Accept him whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters… Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls… So then each of us will give an account of himself to God… So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.” – Romans 14:1, 4, 12, 22 (NIV)

IN ALL BELIEFS, WE SHOW COMPASSION
“…If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but also the very secrets of God, and if I have the faith that can move mountains – but have no love, I amount to nothing at all.”
1 Corinthians 13:2
